We are going to make it with three different apps. Now is the time to update your thumbnails from normal to professional. And that’s what we’re going to learn today. So today we will learn how to create this kind of thumbnails to improve your views and also good impression of your videos.
Apps used for creating Pubg Thumbnail
Pubg Hot Topics
The first app that will be used is an image editor for the first layout design such as adding our character and background etc. The second app that we will be using is Pixellab, PicsArt † Canvas for our text design. And the last one is Snapseed for color correction. I’ve added and edited a few myself so you can easily download and use them.

Steps for Making Pubg Thumbnail
Step 1 Okay, let’s open the image editor and start creating a blank canvas. Swipe right to open the sidebar. Then tap the Create New icon next to regular character type 1924 width and 1084 height. This is the recommended resolution for YouTube thumbnails. Select black as the background color and then tap new.
Step 2 Next, we’re going to import our background image. Tap the plus icon at the top, select the image, then paste from the file. In your document explorer, select your background image as this tutorial uses this image of a rainbow.
Step 3 Because the image editor is layer-based, tapping out in the black area will apply effects to the entire project rather than to an individual layer. When you tap the image to select it, any effects you apply now will affect only the selected layer. Cool, we will now supposedly lower it by tapping the three dots again and going to layer properties.
Step 4 Tap the middle drop icon and decrease the capacity to 70%† You definitely don’t have to copy exactly what I’m doing. I’m just showing you how to use these tools. You can be creative on your own and use different characters, backgrounds and overlays. Speaking of overlays, now let’s import and overlay. Same process as before for importing images. I’m going to use this overlay from these embers.

Step: 5 Zoom out and scale the background image with the tide. Tap the Flip Horizontal like on to flip it over. Since our character will be on the right, it makes more sense to have the embers fly from the right. Save changes by typing the ticker icon and then go to Layer Properties. Loans options tab icon and select screen. This blending mode basically makes anything very dark invisible. We’re not going to add a dark background on the right side, so our text will be separated from the background when we add it. Tap the plus icon again and select shapes.
Step: 6 Let the rectangle fill the entire canvas, change color to black, type RGB and tap color again so we can reduce the capacitance. Lower the percentage slightly and save the changes. Tap the Customize icon and go to the Capacity tab. Select fade, tab fade right to open in settings. Tap the left arrow to open the slider. With this arrow you can move the fader. 15% is where I like to keep it it gives enough space for our character and text.
Step: 7 One more thing before we add our character, tap the three dots, place the order and select Send Backwards. Okay, now it’s time for us to add our character. Same process as we did twice before for importing images. After you import it, also increase its size. I recommend moving it down slightly so that nothing from the top of the character comes out of the frame.
Step: 8 Let’s save the changes and export this image by typing a disk icon, selecting save and saving it as a PNG in our gallery. Now let’s go to pixel labs and add our text. These are the fonts that are used. Headliner and against.
Step: 9 Using a file manager like EX File Explorer, export the font file in the zip to the fonts folder in your internal storage. The fonts should now be available in pixel labs. Let us know to import our image. In the Labs tab, the three doors at the top, the tab used an image from the gallery and select the image we exported from Photo editor. Go back to the three dots menu and tap image size. As you can see, we are not working on the perfect image size. So change it to 1920 by means of 1080and then tap OK. At the first set of text by typing the plus icon in the top left corner and selecting text.

Step: 10 Bigger dimensions of this text because as you know thumbnails are very small so the bigger your text the easier it will be to notice and read. Let’s go to color. Tab Gradient then selects the vertical black and white gradient from the list and tap the plus icon and then the middle sky icon to reverse the gradients. Let’s save these changes and open and enable Inner Shadow. Select the white color from the list, make the blue radius five and save the changes.
Step: 11 Once you’ve done that, save the changes. The same process goes for the second piece of text, we’ll place it below our first text string and rotate it slightly. For this text, change the font to Front to Front properties. Go to color and go to gradient properties, because this time we will choose a different color. Tap the correct color stop and go to the settings. Then tap the pencil icon and type ff six-eight, six-eight then tap okay. For the left color stop typing, go to E an A and then save all changes. Add inner shadow as we did before, but this time with less blur.
Step: 12 Okay let’s export this to our gallery in Png format and 1920 by means of 1080 custom resolution. Now instead of typing save to gallery, tap share and select snap seed. Once the image opens in the snap seed tab, the Edit Stack icon will be displayed at the top right, the QR tab will look like, then select scan QR look. You will now see QR looks on your screen that you can scan and use. I spent a lot of time putting these together just for this purpose. You can of course also use this in other photos. Once you’ve applied your look, you can export it and upload it as your thumbnail. And there you have it. You now have a super cool PUBG thumbnail to put on your videos.
