New weapon: L85A3

The L85A3 is a low recoil assault rifle that opens up a new way for survivors to take on the battlefields of 2051.

  • Weapon overview
    • Weapon Type: Bullpup Assault Rifle
    • Ammunition: 5.56 mm
    • Benefits:
      • Highest damage of all 5.56 assault rifles
      • Performs well in medium to long range firefights
    • cons:

The L85A3 can be found in both Erangel and Troi.

New weapon customization: L85A3 [C1] Vertical Foregrip Bipod

Personalize your L85A3 with this all-in-one vertical grip and bipod!

  • Benefits:
    • Reduces vertical recoil of the L85A3
    • Easier recoil control when shooting while squatting or lying on your stomach
  • cons:
    • Slightly decreases ADS speed

Once adjusted, the attachment will fit into the grip slot of the L85A3 and cannot be swapped out for another grip.

New weapon customization: M416 [C2] long run

A second modification is now available for the M416.

  • Benefits:
  • cons:
    • Increases vertical recoil
  • Once modified, this attachment will disable the muzzle slot of the M416.

The M416 can only be adjusted once per match, so choose wisely!


New Weapon Customization: SLR [C2] 5.56mm barrel

You can swap the SLR’s 7.62mm barrel for a 5.56mm barrel.

  • Benefits:
    • Increases shooting accuracy
  • cons:
    • Less damage compared to the 7.62 mm . barrel

The SLR can only be adjusted once per match, so choose wisely!

New vehicle: Electron

The Electron is a 6-seat electric minibus that is more durable than other vehicles. You can switch seats while in the vehicle, even if you are driving a full shift.

    • Special Notes: More durable than other vehicles.
    • Location: Troi, training area

New vehicle: Mesta

The Mesta is a classic 2-seater sports car that can accelerate quickly and reach high top speeds. The Mesta is available in two models: standard and open.

    • Special Notes: Fast acceleration, high speeds.
    • Location: Erangel, Troi (certain areas), Training Ground

Survivor Pass Vol. 2

Survivor Pass Vol. 2 starts on December 9th! The protagonist of the story of this Pass is Bella from the Dream Runners Faction. Complete the story missions to collect all of Bella’s costumes!

Here’s what else is new in Part 2 of the Survivor Pass:

  • Upgraded Level Rewards for the Premium Pass
  • Rewards now include vehicle skins and more character costumes!
  • 1,500 NC are rewarded to survivors upon reaching level 48 of the Premium Pass“Due to the feedback we’ve received from countless survivors, you can achieve 1,500 NC by reaching level 48 of the Premium Pass, which will allow you to purchase the next Premium Pass.”
  • Added BP Chests as Free Pass Reward

New lobby theme

  • The lobby background and music has been changed to a winter festival theme.
  • The background of the BP Store has also been updated!

Character controls and actions

  • Fixed an issue with joystick controls in control schemes #1 and #2 so that control sensitivities are now correctly applied based on the size of the joystick controls“In the latest patch, we fixed the issue where joystick control would take precedence when using control scheme options #1 and #2. However, then we discovered an issue where the control sensitivities could not be adjusted by resizing the joystick controls. The fix for this issue will be applied through this update.”
  • Parkour moves can now be performed on farther doors.
    • Changed the combat roll mechanics so that when performing a combat roll when your boost meter is 20 or higher, you instead perform a boost roll and cover more ground
      • Boost Meter Below 20: Normal Roll
      • Boost meter above 20 – below 90: Boost Roll (Tier 1)
      • Boost meter over 90: Boost Roll (Tier 2)


  • Changed vehicle entry parameters so you don’t have to be right next to the vehicle door to enter it“You can now board vehicles from further away while maintaining a wider field of view.”
  • Improved the [Drive]† [Get In]and [Door] buttons so they respond faster
  • Improved vehicle controls for Nova, Volta and Dacia
  • Improved left/right rotation mechanisms to be smoother than before
  • The Nova electric sports car changed from four-wheel drive to front-wheel drive
  • Increase the size of the Boost button in the default button settings
  • Changed the Boost button so that tapping in Auto-Drive no longer cancels Auto-Drive
  • Radios added to vehicles“Vehicles now have a playable radio! You can now drive around the Battlegrounds while listening to various tracks and music from PUBG: NEW STATE! This feature can be turned on or off by going to [Settings > Vehicle > Music in Vehicle]†
  • Fixed the buoyancy of vehicles in the water so that it is applied normally
  • The time the engine runs when a vehicle is submerged in water has been reduced from 10 seconds to 5 seconds

FPP mode

  • When you get into a vehicle, it will automatically switch to TPP mode while inside“We believe that vehicle control is one of the major hurdles for FPP mode† As of this patch, the default perspective when driving a vehicle will be set to TPP mode, even if your perspective is set to FPP mode. The survivors who want to enjoy the drive-in FPP mode can use the FPP↔TPP toggle button to go back to FPP mode for the duration of their ride. Make sure the FPP↔TPP button is enabled by going to . to go [Settings > Gameplay]† Hopefully more survivors will enjoy the FPP mode more now!”

Station (Team Deathmatch)

  • The area behind the spawn points has been reduced so that a team cannot position itself behind the enemy’s spawn point
  • Changed the spawn areas so that each team’s spawn areas are now marked in their respective team colors (blue/red) to make it easier to identify each team’s base
  • Changed the Report button to always be visible in TDM

Merit Point System

  • A sanction system has been added to penalize negative behavior.We will build on the Merit Points system and add more benefits and sanctions to the system in the future.
    • Regulations:
      • A Survivor’s merit points decrease if they are reported for team kills or other forms of negative behavior, and multiple reports result in a lower score.
      • If their Merit Points fall below a certain score, the Survivor will be limited from playing Squad Mode. (They can still play in Solo mode.)
      • Playing Solo mode allows them to slowly increase their Merit Points over time.
      • Once their score is high enough, the restriction is lifted and they can play Squad Mode again.

Map updates

  • General improvements made to graphics quality“we’llI will continue to improve the battlefields and improve the gaming experience of all survivors by making improvements to Troi and Erangel. For starters, in this patch we first increased the quality of the grass in Troi. We are also aware of reports of severe eye strain and difficulty spotting enemy survivors in a match. We are thoroughly investigating these issues and will gradually roll out improvement updates in the future. This patch will also implement fixes for most of the visual bugs in Troi and Erangel. More details will be provided in Patch Notes, which will be available after the maintenance on December 9.”


  • Based on feedback we’ve received from the community, BP’s refund amounts are now higher when purchasing duplicate items.
  • Emotes can now be used in the lobby. Try out group emotes with your friends!
  • Game tips now appear on loading screens.
  • Survivors banned for using unauthorized third party programs will be removed from ranks in real time. (There may be a slight system delay.)
