PUBG: New State is Krafton’s latest battle royale game, which debuted in a number of countries earlier this week, including India. Over the weekend, the game surpassed one crore install, just three days after its release.
PUBG: New State had already surpassed 1 million downloads on its first day of release. That number has now increased by a factor of 100.
The high download count comes despite the game having a rough start for many players, with some early users reporting non-functional servers, poor loading times, and even hard-bricked devices on launch day.
PUBG New Condition: What’s New?
PUBG: New State is a futuristic twist on the classic battle royale game that made its predecessor, PUBG Mobile, so successful. Set in the year 2051, New State features new terrain, new weapons, new strategies, and larger urban structures such as shopping malls and multi-storey skyscrapers.
New weapons, such as remote-controlled drones, ballistic shields, neon sights and a “combat balancing ability” are also included in the game, adding a new aspect to your gameplay. A bullet-meter HUD (heads-up display) that shows you how many rounds are left in your clip, both numerically and graphically, is one of the lesser upgrades.
For mobility, PUBG: New State has futuristic sports vehicles, motorcycles, dune buggies, speedboats and hang gliders. Vehicles now have storage capabilities, allowing users to store items such as ammunition and supplies in their vehicles’ trunks, allowing them to carry more supplies than their backpacks allow.
